2-Sided Palm Cards Displayed in Stores
The client had partnered with phone manufacturer Kyocera to promote it's new durable smartphone, the Brigadier. Without the in-store brand recognition of leaders like HTC and Motorola, a unique promotion was required.
Drawing on the insight that the Brigadier's greatest appeal was in its hardiness and therefore appeals to active men, we devised a way to increase awareness of the new phone and partnership. We partnered the client with the GoPro Mountain Games, a BMX, climbing and kayaking extreme sports competition, offering customers who participated in an in-store contest a chance to win the phone and tickets to the games. I created short, tough copy to appeal to our athletic thrill-seekers in two sided palm cards placed in Verizon stores, including an easy-to-remember hashtag.
