The client had a major user base on it's current app platform, "RealPlayer Cloud," and wanted to transition all of them to the next edition, "RealTimes," which kept the old features while adding new ones. The goal was solely on downloads and installs, rather than paid subscriptions, to be upsold later.
Working closely with the design team, I created an email campaign set to run pre and post launch. First, it set up 3 problems or situations over the course of weeks, and then addressed them over the course of weeks on and following launch. With short, punchy copy, we drove users to a landing page I wrote especially for this campaign.
